Daniel Mudau is a Chief Geologist and registered Professional Natural Scientist with 15 years’ experience in exploration and mining operations (both underground and Opencast Mine). He holds a B.Sc. Honours degree in Geology from Wits University, Diploma in Management and Certificate in Project Management.
His expertise is primarily on managing of Mineral Resource/Reserves from Exploration Drilling (both Green and Brown Field), Mineral Resource Estimation, Mineral Reserves (Mine Planning), Grade Control and Reconciliation (from Mine to Processing Plant). Daniel has gathered solid experience in different mining methods for different orebodies and mineral commodities from Opencast Mining (tabular and massive ore bodies), Long Hole Stoping and Cut and Fill Methods (for near Vertical to vertical ore bodies), Conventional and Mechanised Mining (tabular shallow dipping Orebody). Throughout his career he has developed and successfully managed key inputs and outputs of the total ore flow processes to maximise success on the extraction of the orebody.
